Introducing ShadowChrome
Neural-Net Image Signal Processor (ISP)
ShadowChrome redefines image processing, delivering unmatched dynamic range and color accuracy.
Its advanced algorithms enhance image clarity in even the most challenging lighting conditions, surpassing the capabilities of traditional imaging software.
Dynamic Range Expansion
ShadowChrome dramatically enhances the dynamic range, allowing cameras to capture the finest details in both the darkest shadows and the brightest highlights with precision.
All-Lighting Mastery
Photographers and videographers gain mastery over any lighting condition. From the soft light of dawn to the harsh midday sun, ShadowChrome ISP adapts, maintaining color accuracy and clarity.
Visual Richness
ShadowChrome enriches content by increasing the color depth and detail of each frame it processes. The technology deepens contrasts and intensifies colors, making images more vibrant and lifelike.
ShadowChrome dramatically expands dynamic range, allowing traditional RGB sensors to capture the subtlest details hidden in shadows and the brightest points of light with equal clarity.
Comparison with IO Industries Redwood Camera
An office environment illuminated by overhead fluorescent lighting at 280 lux.
Using an IO Industries Redwood 45MP camera with a 1/2500s shutter speed and a 50mm f/4.0 lens.
All in-camera sensor noise corrections were disabled to showcase the pure impact of our technology.
The left image shows a standard capture, while the right image reveals the ShadowChrome-enhanced version.
The second image highlights the difference ShadowChrome ISP makes in capturing the details of an orange vest. Despite the challenging office lighting conditions, ShadowChrome ISP enhances the clarity and visibility of the vest, demonstrating its superior capability to bring out fine details and vivid colors that are otherwise lost.
New sensors aren't bringing better image quality but cameras are still getting better
"Without a major change in the way color is captured, it’s not obvious where significant additional IQ gains will come from."

Dynamic Range Expansion
Boost by 5 to 10 F-Stops.
ShadowChrome extends dynamic range by 20 to 30 dB, equivalent to an impressive 5 to 10 f-stops. By significantly reducing noise and enhancing contrast, ShadowChrome ISP is essential for applications ranging from live sports broadcasting to high-security monitoring.
We analyzed the optical density (OD) and signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) before and after applying ShadowChrome processing. The results are striking: our technology boosts the dynamic range from 71.7dB to an impressive 101dB, translating into a 30dB or 10 f-stop improvement.
